New Fleet Foxes!!! False Knight on the Road

Check out this really great cover of the traditional folk tune False Knight on the Road from Robin Pecknord of the ubiquitous (and no less fantastic for it!) Fleet Foxes. It’s full of the spare, acoustic magic that Pecknord brought to Fleet Foxes’ self-titled debut album. There are moments in this song when we hear a voice eerily similar to Paul Simon’s… it’s a good thing! The track is a B-side for their new single Mykonos. Definitely check it out, it’s beautiful!

thanks… we’re huge fans of pigeons and planes!!
Brilliant Fleet Foxes cover an old traditional English folk-song – to me they play music of the mountains, and sound more British than Seattle. Super!
