God, we love She & Him. This cover of Screamin’ Jay Hawkins’ classic I Put A Spell On You is amazing, showcasing an absolutely killer set of vocals from Zooey Deschanel, a nearly acapella rendition above the almost inaudible sparse strumming of M. Ward’s electric guitar. It showcases a jazzier side to Ms. Deshanel than She & Him has shown us before, and we like!
