Funky covers from Estelle, Jem, Duffy, Mobius Band & Ruby Isle
Estelle, Jem, Mobius Band, Duffy, and Ruby Isle do Stevie, Coldplay, Kanye, PMac, and Animal Collective, respectively. Jem gives Yellow a beautiful, acoustic-piano twist; Kanye’s Say You Will gets revamped with an electro-indie vibe from Mobius Band; Estelle brings the funk to Superstition. We don’t prefer any of these covers to the originals, but they’re fun.

Duffy’s vocals are so passionate. She does this cover much justice. Really impressive. And Jem is always lovely, she’s my sunshine!
The My Girls cover is made cracked out. I dig.
I don’t really care for coldplay, but “yellow” makes me cry any time. so it might be hard for me to accept a cover, but jem’s doing a good job!
