Linus’ Blue Blanket: Islands from The Whitest Boy Alive

Above: The Whitest Boy Alive, in desperate need of a make-over, a decent photographer, and a spoonful of sugar.

The Whitest Boy Alive is back with a sophomore album, “Rules”, which dropped a few weeks ago on March 31st.  We’ve given the new album from Erlend Oye* (of Kings of Convenience fame) & co. a few listens, and we’re liking it, but not completely loving it quite yet (that is to say, we’d much prefer a new Kings of Convenience album).  We may very well decide we love the album soon, however, and if we do, we’ll put up a formal review, but for now check out our favorite track from the album, Islands, below.

*Disclaimer: The “o” in Oye is really an “o” with a line through it.  We don’t know how to do that character… sincerest apologies.
