“Wild Young Hearts” from Noisettes

UK trio Noisettes are back with a fantastic sophomore album, “Wild Young Hearts,” which dropped last week in the UK.  It marks a bit of a departure from their much buzzed, fuzzy punk 2007 debut “What’s the Time Mr. Wolf?”  The new album is significantly sleeker, with 11 sprawling retro-inspired pop gems, more jazzy & bluesy than punky or grungy.  Lead singer Shingia Shoniwa infuses every track with her big, beautiful voice, from the killer, massively infectious single Don’t Upset the Rhythm, to the sweeping, soulful and sad Sometimes and Atticus, to the power-pop anthem 24 Hours.  The album comes highly recommended from us, pick it up today!
