DC natives Southeast Slim & Wale get together for a bangin new jam, Shake Ya Plaits, that just dropped on SE Slim’s MySpace. We don’t know a lot about Southeast Slim, except that he’s pals with Wale, but we’ll be keeping our eyes out for music from him… this song is smokinnn, lots of crazy drums, a few horns, and a bit of an electo twing. I think its safe to say that this song CRANKS!!! I’ve done some research on SE SLIM n the dude has hits for days (mostly mixtapes). It’s good to see he’s finally getting the shine he deserves. N im loving the pic!
