New Jem and Regina Spektor!

Below are two new tracks from two lovely crooning ladies, and both tracks happen to appear in recent movie soundtracks. The first is a new song by the lovely Jem, It’s Amazing (not to be confused with her lovely cover of Paul McCartney’s Maybe I’m Amazed) which is a newly recorded track for the Sex and the City movie (9 days!). The second track is from Regina Spektor, whose album “Begin To Hope” blew up, called The Call, from Disney’s new Narnia movie. Both the tracks are nice, not in our opinion the finest works of either of these two ladies, but they’re nice tracks, both soft luscious ballads.

The Call is absolutely beautiful (and I expect nothing less from Ms. Spektor), while I can’t wait for Jem’s follow up to Finally Woken.
