New Covers Album “3″ from Nouvelle Vague

French duo Nouvelle Vague is back with their third album “3″, and keeping true to form, the album is full of breathy, ethereal, new-wave-inspired covers.  This time around they take on Depeche Mode, Violent Femmes, Talking Heads, Sex Pistols, and The Police, among others.  To be honest, we weren’t familiar with all the songs they covered, but even the ones that we didn’t know, like their fantastic take on The American, we love.  If you were at all a fan of last years amazing covers album from The Postmarks, “By The Numbers,” you’ll love this stuff.  Below you can peep the pretty-damn-hot track list.  “3″ drops this Tuesday, June 16th.

Below check out the lead track from the album (and possible lead single), a rollicking cover of Depeche Mode’s kinky S&M-inspired Master & Servant, featuring noneother than Mr. Depeche Mode himself Martin Gore.
