Freemason’s are back. Sort of. “Shakedown 2,” the follow up to 2007′s “Shakedown,” is two discs and 28 tracks of massive, dancefloor-ready perfection. Catch the track list below: divine, right?? This album is chuck-full of big names: Beyonce, Kelly Rowland, Justice, Jamiroquai, Moby, Marvin Gaye, etc etc. The thing is, we’d love this album 70% more if we hadn’t already heard 70% of the album; we’ve been spinning some of these incredible remixes for months now. This isn’t to say this album isn’t completely bangin’ though, because it is: over the years, Freemasons have become one of our favorite remixers for their flawless ability to combine old and new sounds, disco and funk, pop and dance. This is definitely not an album to miss!!
As an aside, if our long history with Freemasons has taught us anything, it is this: Beyonce + Freemasons = divinity.
