Sally’s Alley: Neon Hitch
Neon Hitch has been around and about for a few years now (at one point last year she shared a flat with Ms. Amy Winehouse, which is either testament to her drug use, or her tolerance as a roomie!), but it was only recently that she appeared fully in our peripheral, due to her appearance on the Benny Blanco remix of Miike Snow’s Burial. She’s sounds a little bit a little bit like Lykke Li, with a little Lilly Allen thrown in and a touch of urban influence & attitude. We’re completely feeling her jams Black and Blues and Rain On Me, and she fits snugly into the conglomerate of sassy soulful UK songstresses (Adele, Amy, Duffy, etc).
