AHHH! New Alphabeat!!! The Spell!!
The day has at last arrived!!! (This day will be followed by another, more important and significant day sometime soon, but bear with us.) You can listen to a *clip* of the brand new single from one of our favorite (maybe even most favorite?) bands in the whole world, Alphabeat. The new single is called The Spell, and will see an official release on October 12th (so soon!) followed by a new album October 19th (we’re dying)… you can listen to a bit of the new single over at PopJustice NOW! PopJustice describes the song as “Madonna meets Shannon with Black Box keyboards with a sped-up 90s Scandipop backbeat. It is amazing.” While we’re not entirely sure what all that means, we agree that yes, it sounds amazing! Oh happy day!!
PS. One of many, many reasons we love Alphabeat, straight from the lips of Stine, or Anders, or one of the other: “Black and Blue is the name of an album by The Rolling Stones from back in the 1970’s but more importantly it’s the name of the Backstreet Boys album that had Shape Of My Heart on it.” Couldn’t agree more.
