Donkeyboy is a new Norwegian band who have been killing it lately over in their home country – their debut single Ambitions remained atop the Norwegian charts for 12 weeks, only to be replaced by their second single, Sometimes. They’re debut album “Caught In A Life” dropped a few weeks ago in the UK, and we just got our hands on it the other day – based upon our first few listens, it’s absolutely fantastic. These guys have perfected breezy Scandinavian pop, & infused it with an 80′s rock softness, pulsing synths and tender (and impeccably tailored!) soul. Check out their first couple singles below: Ambitions is a dreamy pop anthem, incredibly sincere-sounding, and Sometimes a fantastic lullaby-lovesong, soft and nearly cliche, but so fresh it hardly matters.
