new music from vampire weekend – “cousins” + music video

Vampire Weekend has finally unveiled their new single, Cousins, the lead off their sophomore album “Contra” dropping this January.  It’s a rollicking, classically-Vampire-Weekend jam, instrumentally right on (it even has a little Christmas-inspired breakdown at the end!) and while it doesn’t immediately strike as anything that much better than any of their previous singles, it’s pretty funky & we’re mostly feeling it!
