new album from she & him due this spring!!!
hooray!!! zooey & m.ward sat down with paste magazine to reveal some deets about their upcoming & hotly anticipated sophomore album, “Volume Two,” the follow-up to the universally beloved and ’08 favorite “Volume One.” The new album is written mostly by songbird/goddess zooey deschanel & produced by ward. “I think that the dark shades that were on the last record are maybe a little bit darker on the new record,” ward says, “and the brighter shades on the last record are a little bit brighter on the new record.” the new album was recorded in portland & LA over the past year and a half, and is due out in the spring – we can’t wait to hear some new tunez from these guys!!
