bbc unveils “sound of 2010″ longlist!!!
last week bbc unveiled the long list for their annual “sound of” list (you can check out their ’09 list HERE). the list includes a couple of KTP staples (ellie goulding, marina & the diamonds, the drums, daisy dares you), and a couple with whom we will soon become very well acquainted!! you can check out the official list HERE, & for your listening pleasure we’ve included some sample mp3′s from all of the artists on the list below. bbc normally nails this 15-artist list (last year included kid cudi, la roux, little boots, passion pit, empire of the sun, and lady gaga among others!), so these aren’t ones to miss!

i love “let’s go surfing” i’m always in a good mood when i listen to it ^^
Absoloutely amazing, the BBC manage to get some real unknown creative talents NOT backed my industry hype into onto the Radio 1 playlist… or fucking not. This list is about as inspirational as an indie disco at an empty house party. With all their influence, money and resources, they could of at least found some bands on MySpace and on the Hype Machine which about ten people know about, instead of investing in bands which already have a hell of a lot of backing.
I have just interviewed The Drums if anybody is interested, should be up by Saturday
