oy gav – we’re normally shameless about this type of stuff, a good pop song is a good pop song, but there’s something about this girl that we’re not sure we’ll be able to stand for too long (she has a $ in her name, after all).   she’s a little too transparently snarfy for us to completely buy her whole shtick, but she’s making waves, sounds like katy perry’s trashtastic younger sister, & her ascent to the top of the billboard charts (tik tok is @ #3!), if not a consolation for a few months of pop-underground infamy, is a sign of the times.  ke$ha’s debut album “animal” drops january 5th, and you can check out a new track, your love is my drug, off the upcoming album below. it’s unfortunately pretty damn catchy.
