New Lily Allen album – It’s Not Me, It’s You

Some new information about Miss Lily Allen’s sophomore album is out and about, and it’s all making us vurry excited!! The new album, “It’s Not Me, It’s You” will be released February 9, 2009, and you can peep the track list below. The album is a lot more electropop-inspired than her fantastic debut album “Alright, Still”, as many of the leaked demos from the album suggest; in fact, the album is produced by none other than one half of our favorite electropop duo, The Bird and the Bee’s Greg Kurstin. (How exciting!!) One of our favorites, PopJustice, has nothing but nice things to say about the album: “This album is a big relief and incredibly enjoyable, and it’s still getting better with every listen. The lyrical themes range from the sublime to the ridiculous, but nobody says this sort of stuff quite like Lily Allen.”
The first single from the album is The Fear, out in January, known to us previously as I Don’t Know when it was first posted on her MySpace back in the day. You can check out some pictures from the single’s video shoot above and below… Lily Allen + Balloons = divinity!
Along with the track list below, check out the string of demos and leaked tracks from the album.
