linus: new caribou – “odessa” + new album tracklist

check it – dan snaith aka canadian electro-dude caribou is set to drop a brand new album “swim,” the follow-up to 2008′s much acclaimed “andorrra,” in april, & below you can check out the new album’s lead track, odessa (or download HERE).  honestly, we really weren’t feeling the song when we first got a hold of it last week, but the more we’ve listen to it, the more we like it – there’s something strikingly erlend-øye-esque about the vocals, soft and almost purring, & the cacophony of owl hoots & the handfuls of jive piano are oddly danceable.  grab the new track below, & in addition, check out the awesome melody day off “andorrra.”

“swim” is out april 20th on merge records.
