the brand new album from the magnetic fields, “realism,” dropped a few weeks ago, at the end of january, & below you can check out one of our favorite tunes from the new album, you must be out of your mind. the effort (their ninth!) marks a return to the era of sound of “69 love songs” & “i,” incredibly sparse & organic sound & we’re really completely feeling it. check out the new song below, & in addition, check out a pretty sweet new cover from the antlers of the magnetic fields’ nothing matters when we’re dancing (off of “69 love songs, volume 1″).
